To be a Rooster customer, you must:- Be at least 19 years old and under 75.- Held a full driving licence for over a year.
- Have a mainland UK driving licence (currently not N Ireland licenses).
- Own a car which is less than 20 years old and not imported.- Own a car worth less than £40,000.- Have no more than 2 fault claims in the last 2 years.- Have not had a policy cancelled or voided by an insurer.We also have restrictions on the vehicles we can insure, based on your age and driving experience, alongside of course your test drive results.
- ABI Group 1-17 - No Min Age (Some exceptions for under 20s if cc is over 1496 or vehicle is not a Hatchback)- ABI Group 18-24 – Min Age 21, for 21-24 and 1yr NCD required.
No restrictions for age 25+ - ABI Group 25-29 – Min Age 25, age 25-29 and 1yr NCD, 11mth ownership.
